Gel nails, manicures and pedicures

If you are getting ready for the festive season and want to add a splash or colour or sparkle to your nails then maybe now is the time to get that appointment in.

Gel nails are a great way to enjoy a bit of colour on your nails for longer amounts of time than normal nail polish.

How long should Gels last?

Depending on your natural nail they should last 10 days to two weeks some people get longer but it is advisable to remove the gels before they get to tiered.

Do they harm the natural nail?

This is a common question, as long as they are applied correctly and they are removed correctly they shouldn't.

I am always with my gels on and I have not noticed a change in my nail.

Will they make my nails grow?

Gel nails give the natural nail an amour this enables them not to break as easily so they help you get the growth.

Soon as the gels are off and if you decide to have bare nails this is where they may break as they are not used to be as long as they can get with gels on.

Removal

This can be done at home and takes with in 15 to 20 minutes.

when you have your gels applied I can explain and demonstrate to you how you can do this. If your prefer I can always take them off when the next set is applied on your next appointment.

Normal polish manicures and pedicures will need two hours drying time and so no socks and shoes on.
